Mr. President - Coco Jamboo

About Mr. President:

The original members of this German eurodance group were Lady Danii (Daniela Haak) and T (Judith Hinkelmann), also known as T-7, both from Bremens, Germany. In 1994 they were joined by Lazy Dee (Delroy Rennalds), who was originally born in England to Jamaican parents, and later moved to Germany.

Apparently, they came up with their name by combining "M" (for "Music") and "R" (for "Rhythm") into "MR". They then decided to make their name better and did this by thinking of the highest position someone could get, which they decided as "President", and added this to the name to form Mr. President. Sounds a bit far-fetched that they came up with the Mr first, but that's what the site says! ;)

Coco Jamboo, released in 1996, was the smash hit that made Mr. President international superstars, reaching #1 in multiple charts the world over. It sold well enough to reach platinum status and to this date remains by far their most successful single. And that's what I've chosen for this entry! ^_^

A few step notes:

Beginner (1) - Easy! :) Less than 100 arrows here. They are pretty normal for beginner steps, so we will move on... ^^;

Light (2) - Also easy! But with some steps on each beat that are on different arrows. Still pretty fun!

Standard (5) - I like how these went. 8th notes are introduced and follow the music well. A cool middle range chart :)

Heavy (7) - 16th notes and freeze arrows are introduced to keep things interesting. The music and vocals are followed more closely than standard. I like it a lot, I hope you will too!

Also one other thing I did on all the charts was make it so there was always an up arrow every time T says "up", and a down arrow every time she says "down". Just a bit of fun ^^ You might also find yourself twisting a little when Lazy Dee tells you to turn ;)

Graphics made in Adobe Photoshop using a stock photo and some clipart. Lyrics file made in Notepad! :) I put in the official video as well.

That's all I can think of to say. I hope you enjoy it!
